Cheyenne Leo is an artist deeply connected to the natural world. Growing up near Vancouver, she spent countless hours exploring the awe-inspiring Great Bear Rainforest, fostering a lifelong appreciation for the wilderness. She often brought her notebooks along, and tried 1000 different ways to make and record impressions of the leaves and ferns that grow under the towering cedar trees. Later, she embraced the beauty of the Okanagan, where she spent her days swimming in crystal-clear lakes, climbing up to the highest places she could find to sketch the landscapes, and cultivating vibrant gardens. Now residing in the Rocky Mountain Trench, she continues to draw inspiration from the diverse landscapes that have shaped her. Cheyenne’s art reflects her passion for nature, focusing on its delicate beauty and intricate details. A lover of dogs, a believer in science, and a strong advocate for individual choice, Cheyenne’s work embodies a sense of wonder and a deep respect for the planet.
